Jian Xie

I am Jian Xie (谢健), a final-year master at Fudan University in School of Computer Science, Shanghai, China. I am advised by Prof. Yanghua Xiao at Knowledge Works Lab. I previously interned at Carnegie Mellon University, where I was advised by Prof. Lei Li, and at Ohio State University, where I worked under the guidance of Prof. Yu Su, both focusing on language agents.

I have a broad interest in Natural Language Processing, with a current focus on Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and Language Agents. My recent work dives into the knowledge preferences of LLMs in RAG scenarios and the planning ability of language agents. I'm also a beginner of MLLMs. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in my work or want to discuss a potential collaboration!
